Radisson is full. Alternatives?

I'm going to stay at Ron Jon's for a night after the cruise. So many people here seem to love it. I'm going to camp out there for a day before I have to cry & go back home to work.

After I found out from my fellow Ontarian chasbos, that I shouldn't arrive at the port before 10, (still pouting). I decided to stay at WDW and play for a day. My flight gets in at noon, so I'll have enough time to make it worth it.

We loved it--great pool and atmosphere!

Ok - this was going to be my suggestion just 'cause we like Ron Jon's.

We stayed at the Radisson. It was not super-duper - a place to stay - nice pool though, with a waterfall. Absolutley no dinner choices, as if the entire dining staff took the night off.

I echo the getting to the Port early - we did - could not unload the luggage - could not park. Had to wait in the car (and wait). With the new ressies system the "need" to be the first in line to get reservations has disappeared.

Good Luck with finding a hotel. :3dglasses

I think we may book at the Marriott or Best Western...must do so soon.

For our upcoming cruise, we will be staying at Saratoga Springs Resort for one night after flying into Orlando, and then zipping over to the Port in the morning. Gotta love as much Disney Magic as I can get...lol!

Suzanne - your plan sounds great! We stayed one more day at the Radisson after our cruise and it was much needed! We were so tired and exhausted after our cruise, so when we got off the ship and got back to the Radisson (8:30 a.m.) they let us into our suite and we all had a nap! Then it was pool side for the day and we were well rested for our flight home the next day.

It is just amazing how tired you get while on vacation!

I think the first seating of the Ohana character breakfast is 7:30 or something. You could wake up early, have a character breakfast, drive to the port and still be among the first in line.

Unless you are a handicapped passenger in a suite, you won't be the first to board no matter what time you arrive. They board handicapped people and suite passengers (who are at the terminal, granted some suite passengers and handicapped passengers don't arrive until later) first. So once you make the determination to be one of the first 50 or so people on board, it stops making such a big difference if you are there at 10am or 10:45.
