Radisson Hotel Maingate

We are contemplating our first trip to Disneyland. After 12 years of WDW, we thought DL would be a fun change. Has anyone stayed at the Radisson? DH is a Radisson employee, so we would get a great rate, but I'm curious about the condition of the hotel and its convenience to the park. Is it walkable?

Here is a photo that shows most of the surrounding accomodations. You will see the Radisson is walkable. It probably would be a 10-15 minute walk to the front gates of the parks. It is a bit dated looking and an aquaintance I know stayed here with his family last year and said it was fine.
