We just booked the suite at the Radisson. Has anyone stayed here in one of the suites before? This is our first time staying here and would love to know more. Is there a place they offer discounts? I just got the rack rate. Thanks so much.

Travis,
We stayed there last July before our Eastern Magic cruise. You may want to check to see if they have AAA rates.
The suite consisted of a living room with sleep sofa and kitchenette and a master bathroom with a king bed and jacuzzi.
The rooms do get quite a bit of wear and tear, but it was clean and suited the purpose for a one night stay.

We just stayed there a couple of weeks ago. I have pictures of the suite on my web site on the "pre-cruise" page under the "Disney Magic" heading :) The link to my site is below in my signature. I booked the suite a year in advance (Aug 2003 for Aug 2004) and it was $129. plus tax.

P.S. I had read a lot of negative things about the Radisson but I found the employees to be extremely helpful and our suite was clean and in very good condition. :) The grounds were beautiful.

We were there also recently. We enjoyed it. I think I paid about $145 or so, I booked about 9 months out. We would stay there again.

Travis...we have stayed in the 2 room suites a few times and we have one again this Friday night for our cruise on Sat.

Ours is the same as mentioned in the posts above but with addition of another king bed in the bedroom. The bedroom has 2 king beds and the living room has a pull out sofa bed.

We found them to be very nice with the jacuzzi tub and marble shower....both the LR and BR have their own TV's and the kitchen is nice with a table that seats 4.

I will take more pics this time. FYI we paid $129.00 off the Radisson website which promises to have the Best Price Guarantee.

if you go to www.radisson.com and find the Cape Canaveral location they have a link with pictures to the 2 room suites.

We stayed in a suite last year before our Halloween Cruise on the Magic. We were upgraded for free because the hotel had run out of regular rooms.

We are (hopefully) staying there this Friday night as we're on the Magic Saturday. On their website, we got a rate of $99 for a standard room with two double beds.

Thanks for all the replys....I didn't know there was different suites...I just called back and got the suite with 2 kings and a pull out bed. :teeth:

Thanks for the helpful info!

I forgot one more thing. Is there any shopping around the hotel or grocery stores (in walking distance)? I have been on the cruise many times but this is the first time staying here. It's all new to me

Thanks again!

Travis

We've had a 1-bedroom suite with jacuzzi at the Radisson twice, and were happy with the rooms both times. Actually, we requested the same room as we had on our first trip, and they gave it to us. I loved how it was decorated in peach and teal, in kind of a Caribbean theme, very pretty. The grounds of the hotel are very nice, with a great pool area too. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Our first time we paid $99, but last time it was $129.

I don't recall any grocery stores within walking distance, and no real shopping either. There are a couple of restaurants and a miniature golf course.
