i am thinking this is the type of wireless remote that actually works well but know someone has posted a brand ( off brand) they have used. sorry for asking again but i would appreciate if they would post it again.
or what your pros and cons of wireless remotes would be, any brand that doesn't work etc
thanks for any and all info

Go to ebay and enter phottix and your camera ie Canon. They work great!

for Phottix, do you both have Nikon by any chance? eBay only has Nikon in the US, otherwise for Canon it's in Poland. i looked at the phottix website but they don't have an online source in the US evidently, just Europe. Guess it doesn't really matter, it would just take longer to get here.

I bought one last summer from Promaster and it works well. I haven't used it a whole lot, so haven't put it through the paces, really, but it supposed to work up to 100 meters. I think it cost me about $89.

Here is the link to it on Amazon: Promaster Wireless Remote Shutter Release
