Radiator Springs Fastpasses for hotel guest

Can anyone give me insight regarding fast passes for Disney hotel guests. I'll be staying at the Grand Californian. Last year we could use the private hotel entrance to get WoC fast passes before the regular front gates were opened to day guests. Is Disney also offering that type of option for Radiator Springs Racers? Are the two machines connected? Get I get a FP for WoC and then walk right over to get another FP for RSR?

I would definitely do it the other way around--RSR FP first and then go over and get the WOC one. No, they are not connected. I have not seen any reports that the FP machines open before 8, which is the time the park is open to the general public.
