Hi

Has anyone stayed at the Raddison Hotel at Universal Studio's?

If you have what were the rooms like? The staff and the location.

Any feed back would be great

Cheers

Weve stayed next door at the Holiday Inn Universal (which is excellent by the way) so cant comment on the rooms, but the location is excellent. Right across the Road from the back entrance to Universal so there is less traffic etc to get in. Not close enough to walk though but there are regular shuttle buses which only take about 2 or 3 minutes.

All the restaurants of I drive are close as is Beltz.

Definitely need a car though. Oh yes its next door to the worlds biggest TGI Fridays (or so they claim).

We didn't stay there but I did meet someone in reception - if it is the same Radisson aka Two Towers. We chose to meet there because it is so close to Universal and so easy to get to.

It is a very big hotel with a large convention center as well. When I was there the reception was heaving with convention attendees. Also a couple of women who didn't look to be attending the conventions or staying in the hotel - although possibly working (if you get my drift).

Certainly didn't appear to be a family hotel in any way but the public areas were plush and clean.

Hi ,

We recently stayed at that Radisson. It's right opposite the entrance to Universal and close to Highway 4 which takes you to Disney in 5 minutes..great locations. It's a very nice hotel. It's clean, has wonderful ammenities and very helpful staff. We booked through hotelmartusa.com and received a great price. We were alround very happy...enjoy

Hi

Thanks for your feedback. We will be taking our 3 year old. So hopefully it will be ok and they dont look down at us. We wanted to stay at All star Disney as we have stayed there 2 times and this time the price was too expensive for what it was. I remember paying #800 for two weeks in June and it is now well over that.

Thanks everyone.

Michelle

The Radisson is an excellent hotel & Universal is very walkable. Plenty of vacationers so don't worry about the business types.

Stayed there twice now and going again later this month. Excellent hotel which does have a good mix of business types and vacationers. The shuttle bus is great cos you are the first pickup on a morning from about 4/5 hotels on route so no problem getting a seat. If your going to city walk ask the universal ticket desk for some coupons, lots of 2 for 1 offers there.
This year they added an extension to the I ride so you can get that too and from right outside the Rad to I Drive etc which just makes it even more convenient. Didnt actually hire a car this year as I walked to Universal and got the shuttle to seaworld (coming back on the I ride after the fireworks)
Always found the staff friendly too. Hope you enjoy!

Colin
