Raddison booked up Dec. 2nd!!!

Holy Cow! I can't believe it. We've been on two other cruises and didn't have any problems booking a room there. That's the only place we've stayed so I'm not sure where else to stay. Any great ideas? I hear there is a Holiday Inn Express and Ron Jon's close by. Has anyone stayed in either of these places? We don't need fancy digs, just a place to rest our bones overnight. Clean and affordable with a place to have breakfast or something close enough to walk to.
Any help would be awesome!

Are you sure they are booked? i heard their website does not book that far out. Could try the 800 number. I have friends that stayed at Comfort Inn and they were happy there.

You should be able to book there for december now online if they have rooms. We booked for 12/9/05 a month ago. I would still contact the hotel directly to make sure.

I checked the website and it said there was nothing available. I figured it was too early. I called them directly and they said it's not too early. They have a couple of weddings and a bunch of parties and sure enough, they are booked solid that night. I did go to www.easyclicktravel.com and found good rates for Hilton Cocoa Beach ($73.57) and Holiday Inn Cocoa Beach ($65). It's only $3 a person for a shuttle which my DH thinks is awful because he's used to the free shuttle at the Raddison. I found a room rate of $109 at the Holiday Inn Express. I will look into the Comfort Inn also. Thanks Connie!

If they have blocks of rooms set aside for the weddings then they aren't actually booked yet. They may have rooms open up to book a couple months before hand when the wedding party has to release the remaining unbooked rooms at the special rate they had worked out. Does that make sense? I don't seem to be able to write it down how I was thinking it. LOL! You could book then & cancel the back up room & then your DH could use the shuttle.
