A couple of questions for those in the know. First of all, are there usually rooms available at the Raddison if you just show up or are they usually full? We will be driving from central Ohio and are not sure where or when we will make it the night before the cruise. Also, we will be making a stop at the Caddyshack restaurant either to or from the cruise in St. Augustine. Yes it is owned by the Murray brothers. Has anyone ever eaten there before? We saw it on the food channel the other day. The put actual golf tees in their t-bone steaks.

I have eaten at the Caddyshack in Myrtle Beach SC.
We had lunch. I wasn't really overwhelmed with the food. We didn't have steaks- we had sandwiches and fries I think. The theming was neat and there were lots of pics of the Murry family on the walls.

Does Bill Murray own this??? He actually lived in the next town over from us and his son was in our little league...not sure if he still lives in the area anymore.

I think it is supposed to be owned by the Murray brothers. I am not sure which ones- there are many!

We are cruising on the 31st, so we needed a room for the night of the 30th. I had called one hotel on the beach & it was booked. I then called Radisson & we were able to get a suite there. From what I can tell, there are a lot of hotels in Cocoa Beach, but if you are certain you want to stay at the Radisson, I would try to book ahead. JMO

A five-year dream finally became a reality June 7, 2001, when comedian Bill Murray and his five brothers - actors Brian, Joel, John and businessmen Andy and Ed - opened the first Murray Bros. Caddyshack at World Golf Village. Designed to look and feel like a country club gone awry, the restaurant combines the brothers' sense of irreverence with their love of golf.

With more than 8,000 sq. ft. of dining space, the flagship restaurant includes the Bunker Bar, with two, 150 inch quad television screens plus additional TV's to cover multiple sporting events and the Looper's Lounge, which doubles as a game room. The Shed sells Murray Bros. Caddyshack merchandise such as t-shirts, hats, glasses, golf attire and misc. golf gadgets.

Andy and the Murray Bros. Caddyshack management team - Mac Haskell, co-founder and co-chairman, Robert Brown, chief executive officer, Jeff Trent, director of operations, and ricky Gibson, director of food and beverage set this eatery apart from other theme restaurants by emphasizing quality food and serve to attract repeat business from the local market as well as tourists.

I would book ahead at the Radisson just for safety sake. Their cancelation policy is a simple one just call before 6pm on the day of if you need to cancel, then you will not be charged for the reservations.
