So I asked a girl how her "WDW" vacation went..

Well she said her parents aren't into that sorta thing at all, so they went to the MK one day, and her parents refused to take them to any other park. (They were just in FL for two weeks, not an actual WDW package/vacation).

Bummer.

What did they do in Florida for 2 weeks then?

I don't know; I didn't want to press it too much, because I'm sure I'd start talking about my WDW vaca in 2008 and I didn't want to be obnoxious.

Can't believe that really -_- I would find it sad if she really wanted to go to all the parks, but the parents ignored her and did what they wanted to do on a family vacation... But if she didn't mind, then it doesn't really matter.

On the flip side I had a really fun convo with some of the other girls in my class while we were copying pages (using the copier) from encyclopedias for a project.

I noticed one was wearing mickey earrings, in fact the exact same pair I was wearing earlier in the week. I complimented her on them, told her I had the same pair, and she smiled and said she told her mom that if she lost them she'd have to go back to WDW just to get a pair. xD

And I told her I picked them up in CA, and then everybody started talking about whether they'd been/some go yearly.. and thenone girl said she went to DL all the time when she was little and yeah it was really nice.

Quite amazing you know a lot of people who go to Disney parks. Most people I know rarely, if ever, go to Disney parks, and if they do, it's DLP.

Well people in Michigan have 3 vacation spots: northern Michigan, WDW, or Florida islands.

I lost one of my Ghost earring in Magic Kingdom.

I didn't realize it until near the end of the night in line for Haunted Mansion.

I fell off the couch when I woke up and hit the table that is like right in front of it...lol. It hurt. That was like an hour ago, no one was here so no one knows I woke up "late" ...

The Story....

So this morning we woke up at our delightful Marriot Courtyard hotel (priceline, get into it) and walked outside to get in the van to head to Chicago for our second show of the tour. Only problem, it isn't there. Either someone is pulling some Merlin crap on us and just waiting for the perfect moment to unveil it and calm our shot nerves, or a talented scumbag stole our van and trailer with literally everything we own inside. Needless to say, we're crushed. Our most beloved instruments are gone, and trust me, we're gear nerds. After a great deal of scrambling and deliberation, we found a way to stay on tour, after a few days off to get some gear and a rental van together. Having something like this happen is the worst thing that can happen to any band short of someone dying, and we're incredibly stoked to finish this tour with Billy Talent and play every night doing what we love. Our most sincere thanks to everyone who offered to help us in any way, our friends mean the world to us and everyone who has reached out today is absolutely mind blowing. So here it is our limited edition Misfortune in the Motor City T-shirt. All proceeds from this will go to wiping away our tears and some new tumbleweeds for the insides of our wallets. Love, PTW
