im reading about sleep, because last night i got to thinking and i realized i dont even know why sleeping is necessary....

well, i looked it up and it turns out that scientists still dont know why exactly we sleep. what they do know is that both over-sleeping and under-sleeping doubles your risk of death by cardiovascular disease. they also know it effects your memory and metabolic rate...interesting.
