How does this sound so far?

"Sirius is the brightest/ star in the sky. It’s home is in Canis Major. This name coming from latin, Sirius is also referred to as the “Dog Star”. Since this star is the brightest it’s easily seen by the human eye from almost any place on earth. Sirius along with 3 other stars are the only to have a negative magnitude. With two stars, Sirius A and Sirius B. Sirius B is extremely hard, and can only be seen with a telescope. Both Sirius A and Sirius B orbit around each other. Sirius’s color back in the day was known to be red. To the Roman’s they thought this meant that a god was angry. Since the star was red, it is known that the Roman’s may have killed red dogs to this star. As a sacrifice. This star also had a huge impact on Egyptian religion. Sirius became one of the most important stars in Egypt when “The Goddes Sothis, Sopdet, Sepdet personified the “Dog Star”.” (Crystalinks) More of the information on Sirius effecting Egypt can be found at http://www.crystalinks.com/sirius.html. In Greece, Sirius was known as Orion’s dog. The name Seirios like the name Sirius caused the Greeks to associate Sirius with summer heat as Seirios meant schorcher. [CRYSTALINKS]"
