I have a Resort Room booked using AP discount. The room category that i prefer is not available right now. i do try to check at least once a day to see if it is available.
My question is if I check daily and the room is not available but the day i check in the room category IS available: What amount do I pay? The rate I would have paid if the room had been available or rack rate? (well the difference accounting to what i have already paid).
I am asking because in September 2017 I had a room at Yacht Club - standard room- and asked to move to AKL - when we checked in to AKL, we were in a SV room and we had several hundred dollars credit on our room account. They must have had some kind of "hurricane" rate that they gave us - not sure. This was a few days before our Disney Cruise-we were the first cruise out after the hurricane.
