Is anyone going to watch this? I DVR'ed it to watch today..Just turned it on

Probably not - can't stomach Rachel Ray for more than a few minutes at a time. Don't have a DVR for that matter.

I will!! I like her. Even though I don't see how anyone other than her could make one of her 30 minute meals for under 30 minutes. She doesn't mix her food that much. How can you put noodles in the pot and not stir? And how does her big stainless steel pot of cold water come to a boil so fast? It always takes mine like 25 minutes! Any way, I do like her and I think it looks good from the previews!

I used to like watching her "30-Minutes" show, but now I'm just sick of seeing her. She's got multiple Food Network shows, specials, and cookbooks, she's marketing her own knife sets and cookware, and now the talk show. It's over-saturation IMHO.

I hate to admit it, but today was the first time I've ever seen her! I kind of liked the show. It was upbeat and fun. Although, it might be a little TOO much for every day viewing.

It's gotta be better than watching Tony Danza reruns. I saw the last 10 minutes of her show today. Forgot it was on. I will watch tomorrow. I like that you can go to her website and see the items that are needed for tomorrows show so that you can make the meal.

I used to really like her, too, but then I started to notice that a lot of her recipes are so similar - like how many stoups and salads can you make each week? - and her enthusiasm, which once seemed genuine, now comes across to me as forced. If she toned it down a bit for her show, I might check it out when I have a day off. Regardless, I won't set the VCR.

Hi. I saw parts of it. Told DH about the quick meals and he would like to try them. How about the cook book. Has anyone bought or read it?

Don't forget about her magazine either.

I agree that I used to LOVE LOVE LOVE her 30-minute show and even her $40 a Day shows. But thanks to oversaturation, I'm so done with her perky self.

I also loved her shows on Foodnetwork. But, I really can't take her anymore. Tried to watch the show today and couldn't make it through the whole thing!

Oh I'm sorry I missed it. I didn't know today was the first show. I'll be looking for it tomorrow.

I like her and do plan to watch the show, it doesn't air here until 4:00. I hope she's not too over the top perky, that would keep me from watching every day! :sunny:

Will she let anyone talk? I saw something she did with Joe Perry...she'd ask him a question, he'd get 2-3 words out, and then she'd interrupt him.

It was pretty good. She looked different to me.
I have it on now and I was just thinking the same thing about her looking different. What is it? Does her face look fuller? Or maybe her mouth looks different? :confused3 I don't know but something's different but I can't put my finger on it!

I have one of her 30 minute meal cookbooks...

I have not used it much...
made one beef dish and the meat was tough....
a gourmet friend of my DH said it needed to cook longer.... :rotfl2:
so much for 30 minutes... :rotfl: :rotfl:

In response to OP I will check out the show tomorrow..I had a class today and missed it.....

I wouldn't buy the cookbooks. The foodnetwork website has tons of her recipes. (It's been awhile since I've been on that website though.) HTH! :)

I don't know, maybe it's just my mood today or something but she's really bugging me. Her show's doing nothing for me so far.
