Race For The Taste 10K Registration Info?

I registered myself and family for the Race For The Taste 10K in early August. It's now just 2 1/2 weeks away and I have not received any registration info. My check has cleared BTW. I see on the WDW Sports page information on picking up your race packet the day or two before the race and detailed instructions on what to do race day. Should I be worried that I haven't received any type of confirmation of my registration? Or is this normal procedure?

Same here, just copied down the confirmation numbers when I registered. Generally you can just show up and they'll have a packet for you. We're actually doing both RftC and RftT, so we'll pick them both up on Friday night when we arrive probably.

Speaking of that weekend, anyone got any great rates at hotels they want to share? Now that we're for sure going Shades of Green is already booked on Sat and it's a hassle to change hotels, so we're looking for a room for Fri and Sat nights, <$100/night

It looks like the All Stars are at $79 a night and Moderates are at $139 a night. You might want to call Anthony Travel at 1-800-736-6377 and check out rates for Port Orleans since they are the official resort they may have a better rate. We are staying at Old Key West. Good Luck!

I don't know yet. It will depend on DD14's soccer schedule. The 28th is to be used for make-up games.

It's been hysterical trying to get a room at this late date, but I did manage to find one for $59 4 miles from WWoS. That works for me! It's a Holiday Inn, so it should be fine.

Hi guys!

We will look for all of you. We will be a family of 4. Me, DH, DD13 and DS11. I won't be fast at all. I may even plan on doing more fast walking than running. Broke my big toe a month ago and it will definitely not be at 100% by then. Would love to meet you all!
