Want to share this with you all as I'm so proud of my sister. She has just done the cancer research Race for Life in Harlow and came 2nd
She done it for me as I was dianoised with breast cancer last year and have just finished treatment.

46 days until we go to Disney

A good friend of mine died last Tuesday from a stomach tumour.

well done to your sister and well done to you, I know what you have gone through and I feel I must share my story. Last year 2 weeks before we were due to go to disney I found a lump, I was so determined to go to disney that I didnt go strieght to the doctors until the day after we arrived home. I was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 weeks later, I have almost finished my treatment, just waiting to start radio-therapy now and hoping to go back to disney mid september this year.

Congratulations on finishing your treatment! I'm doing Race for Life with a group of girls on the 8th June. Walking it though as it turns out to be the day before my operation.

Thank you all for your kind words. and Belle68 glad the end is in sight, good luck. We all put off going to the doctors for fear of the worst but I would encourage any one to go at the first sign of any change, I didn't even feel a lump just a change in my breast but I'm sooo glad I went and caught it early, especially as I'm only 39 and have a DD4
