RAC, Southwest, and Unaccompanied Minor

Here's a permutation I haven't seen before: Can an unaccompanied minor (flying on Southwest in this case) use RAC to check bags on departure day?

Since it's necessary for unaccompanied minors to visit the ticket counter upon arrival at the airport, it isn't obvious if any functions related to check-in (in particular, checking baggage) can be performed through RAC, or everything has to wait until arrival at the airport.

I would expect that the minor could not check bags. In any case, if the minor were under 16 they can't ride ME unaccompanied.

Why not you try to check your child in and check his bags in at the resort. Then you go to the airport with him and "add the unaccompanied minor feature" there.
