I was so happy that I finally got my flowerbed all fixed this summer. We noticed a few flowers looking funny then went away for a week. We came back to a pittiful looking bed with all the plants eaten up. Does anybody know a way to keep rabbits out of the flowers..or is there any flowers that rabbits dont like? I'd appreciate any ideas.

Those darn rascally rabbits! I'm sorry they found your flowers too hard to resist Snuggles. :( A lot of the Buds have had trouble with them, and I hope they can offer you some advice, but in the meantime, here's a list of rabbit resistant plants you might want to keep in mind for next year.

Rabbit resistant trees, shrubs, and plants.

This link tells you how to build a fence to keep them away from your plants. Prevention & Control of Rabbit Damage

I hope this helps! :D

I have rabbits by the truckload in my neighborhood. However, the flowers I've planted are those not preferred by rabbits. My vegetable garden is another matter. I bought fencing called rabbit guard, but that didn't stop them even though the opening in the wire was 2" by 4"; I ended up wrapping 1" chicken wire around the rabbit fencing I'd alreay installed. They can be tenacious pests. The chicken wire solved the rabbit problem. I must admit, however, that the fencing is not the most attractive thing in the garden.

Thanks for the help. I suppose I'll just have to start over with plants that they dont like.
