R n' R single rider

I've found single rider on RNR to be practically walk-on during my recent trips. May be the time of the day and when we have traveled but I've walked on and turned around and did it again in very short order.

I tried single rider once. I waited at least 45 minutes (don't know posted wait time but it was about 2 hours after opening a few January's ago). The line wasn't moving at all. Then it did a little bit. As a matter of fact, they ended up just taking from the single rider line as we got out of the room that you leave to get your limo. I don't know if the line got really long outside, or they knew how long it was taking. They took at least 20 people from the single rider line, while stopping the regular line. Ive never read anywhere of them doing that, and not sure why they did, but I was glad they did. I was still quite far back when they did it.

Thanks to everyone for your input. We do have one DHS morning planned, but we probably won't make it before rope drop. I'm going to snag one RnR FP, and also plan to ride TSMM during the last hour of the night.

On that subject, is it feasible to see Fantasmic!, then head for TSMM to get in line before closing time? Or will the mobs watching SW fireworks make it impossible to even reach TSMM?

I've had decidedly mixed results lately using thee single rider line at RnR. It saves you little time if any, although once on my last trip I did breeze right through

The last couple of times I've done walk-on was in 2013, so not recently, but it was only a little faster than standby. I do it because DH can't ride it due to vertigo issues and we won't use our FP+ for something he won't ride. I did stand in single rider all the way to the merge at the loading point. What did happen was I missed most of the preshow since we were let into the room later than the others. I plan on doing standby again, unless we can't get the FP+ we want for our 1/2 day at the park. It's always been a 1/2 day park for us,.

After having had great success at single rider on Everest I was shocked at how bad it was on RnRc. It was like the CM wasn't even trying to seat any of us.

For our next trip I will be riding RnRc solo so I thought I would go there at RD and take my chances with standby and then head to ToT and ride it as many times as possible....
