Dorky! I don't like it. I think the mickey shape on Screamin' was better. That just face is a bit cheesy looking. Maybe it will look better in real life.

Wow, that's just so wrong to remove the Mickey head from the CS coaster loop. I can't say I care for the look of the new Mickey Head on the new sun wheel, but at least it is a classic Mickey head, so it might look better than the Sun during the day time, [but I found the Sun to be rather classy, especially at night.]

I feel that the burst shown just behind Mickey's head looks all wrong... I would prefer they not include that portion of it, because there is already some sort of a burst shape behind the head. That one little burst shape directly behind Mickey's Head is what ruins it for me, I think.

I saw that the orange buckets were taken off of the Sun Wheel today. It's started! I'm going to miss everything so much!!!
I have to say that I'm not too excited about the Little Mermaid ride, the Silly Simphony Swings looks fun but I think I'll actually be scared once on it, and I'm totally mad that they're re-theming Mulholland Madness!!!

I like the new design for Mulholland Madness but seeing as how the park is Disney's CALIFORNIA adventure, I agree that it should have stayed the same.

I think with all these changes, they need to rename the park!

I agree, they're taking all the "California" out of the park. I don't think Epcot and the Animal Kingdom are necesarily "Disney" like the Magic Kingdom, but I love them all the same. I feel that way about DCA too. And I'm really sad they took Mickey off the CS loop!!! I always called it the Mickey coaster. So sad...

I totally agree. The California theme is slowly going away! To me, the only part that'll still have the California touch will be the Condor Flats & Golden State area. The only Disney thing about it is the little Brother Bear section, but it's super small and doesn't affect the area at all. Those areas are the only places that will remotely be untouched and in my opinion, will also look very displaced from the rest of the park. It's called CALIFORNIA Adventure for a reason. At least Buena Vista St. has a California theme, but everything else is Disneyfied too much.

What would Disney re-name the park to? I think its tough renaming the park because there are already alot of people who recognize the whole "California Adventure" name. The main 'plaza' of California Adventure is going to get rethemed to 1920's Los Angeles. There will still be some California-e-ness to keep it California Adventure I think.

2 - Mulholland Madness will be rethemed into "Goofy’s Sky School", also based on Walt Disney's short film "Goofy's Glider".

I heard that too. Supposedly they're going to get rid of the letters in order to extend the entrance of DCA, trying to mirror the Main Street of DL.
What're they gonna do with those letters? I really liked them

From what I understand they will be removing the letters But its not going to be one of the first things to be worked on. It shouldnt be worked on until 2010 or something like that. So for the time being we can still enjoy it for a while longer.
