Is anyone familiar with QVC's return policy? I am thinking of ordering a treadmill from there :surfweb:, but I want to be sure I can return it if it doesn't work out. I think it said on the screen on TV that it has a 31 day money back guarantee. Dh doesn't think I will use it :rolleyes1, but I think that I will. I've got to do something to get in shape!:cheer2:

They have a stated 30 day guarantee. You can go online and print out a return label, so you don't have to return it yourself. Depending on the item, you might have to call UPS for a pick-up. The shipping will be deducted from your credit amount.

It is usually cheaper than going to a Mail Center yourself. I was just returning a shirt with my return label to our local Postex. QVC is going to deduct $4.45 for my return. The lady in front of me had the shop return here similar package for almost $9.00.

QVC is very flexible about returns. I've had items that went past 30 days and have called them and they allowed me to return it.

I recently returned a camera that I bought on QVC. I even used it...which is how I found it drained batteries (for 20 pictures I went through 3 sets of batteries). I sent it back with all the packaging and my card was refunded without a problem.

Good - I just wanted to be sure someone didn't have a hard time returning something to them. I wonder how much the return shipping would be for a treadmill if I have to return it?:crazy2:

I'd have to believe its substantial.

Our treadmill was delivered not by UPS but by a freight company. The delivery guy would only bring it as far as the garage (I wanted it in the basement).

It took my husband and another man SIGNIFICANT effort to get that box downstairs because it was so heavy.

Not sure what kind of batteries you are using but if you have a digital camera they will eat regular batteries like crazy. You need to invest in rechargeable. They will work for a long time. Not sure what the difference is.

QVC has been awesome with returns. I bought a smoothie maker a few years back. Nearly a year after I got it the spout broke off. The manufacturer's warranty was 90 days. QVC allowed me to send it back and refunded my purchase!

I also purchased a grill from them several years ago. They kept saying again and again that you would not find a better value anywhere. Two days after I got the grill it was on sale at a local store for much less. I sent them a letter with the ad attached and they gave me a credit for a future purchase for the difference!

Not every digital goes through betteries like crazy. My Kodak camera ate batteries, but my newer Canon can take about 300-400 photos without changing batteries. I guess it depends upon the camera and your settings.:confused3

To the OP: I find QVC is very good about returns, but you might want to check on the return shipping for an item like a treadmill. It might cost more than it's worth to you.

QVC is awesome about their returns!! I ordered some food products that just weren't good at all. They refunded me, no questions asked.

My Kodak also eats batteries like crazy. My old Cannon could go forever.

QVC has always been awesome with returns. I also returned a camera after about 2 months. I just wasn't happy with it at all. I ordered a very expensive treadmill it was delivered by a freight truck. I would imagine shipping it back would be very expensive. They will deduct the amount from your return.

I agree with the PP's that the shipping both ways on a treadmill would most likely make it a very very expensive trial run. You would most likely end up saving money by actually joining a gym unless your whole family will be using it. (Many run promos for under 20 a month)

Consider looking for one at a garage sale or look in your paper.

We bought a used treadmill for $50. Used it very little. sold it.

Then we bought a bike for $55 and I use it all the time.

Save yourself some money and buy used
