We are going to be at BCV 12/19-12/22. Any suggestions for a Christmas visit?

yessss christmas time is wdw is awesome be sure to check for availability for mickeys very merry christmas party or mvmcp for short we attended one in 2002 and it was great it is a hard ticket event so there is an extra charge forty bucks for adults so it could be more now also check out the osborne family light spectacular at disney studios for more info check out allearsnet.com and check out holiday happenings

we go usually in the first part of dec just to get in the holiday mood

We went about the same time last year except we checked out the 24th. The parks were crowded as expected. We stayed at the YC & really enjoyed the resort. They had story telling and carolers at night along with complimentary hot apple cider.
We did what we could at the parks, got as many fast passes as possible when possible. Enjoyed the shows too. We went to all the resorts to see the decorations, many had lots of extras like the YC did at night.
The candlelight procession is a must at Epcot, even if you don't get in you can hear it and see it from the outside, it's very moving!
Not sure whether they will have the Osbourne family lights back yet but if they do that is always a sight!
You'll love the BW area at this time of year, very festive!!
Have fun!

In my opinion the Candlelight Processional at Epcot is the highlight of my holiday visits. It retells the biblical story of Christmas told by a celebrity narrator with a large chorus and orchestra singing and performing holiday standards. It is beautiful and stirring. It always puts me in the XMAS mood. It has become a family tradition for my family in early December but performs through the holiday.

Does anybody know when they start decorating the resorts and parks for Christmas?

DH and I are celebrating our 20th anniversary this year, and it looks like early to mid-November will be the only time we can get away without the kids. We haven't decided where we're going yet, but WDW is on the list. Since we're planning a family trip to WDW in 2005, DH and I could get annual passes if we go this year and maybe save some money on next year's trip.

I arrived Nov.1st last year & they were putting the stuff up. The resorts were pretty much decorated by teh time we left on Nov. 8th.

Oh goody!! Christmas decorations in November! That's another "plus" for celebrating in WDW. Guess we'd better start making some decisions soon! Thanks!
