Oh my goodness, this thread makes me think of my dd Ashli. She loves quotes of all kinds too. She put quotes on the back of a biology exam and when she got it back her professor had added a bunch of quotes of his own, lol.

These are two of my favorites. One was in my eighth grade classroom and the other my biology teacher had it in her classroom;

I have a book by George Seldes called "The Great Thoughts", with quotes from tons of literary, political, and historical people. It's actually very interesting reading. When I was little and giving my parents lip, my dad would always say to me, "Mess with the bull, young lady, and you get the horns." Years later I heard that line in "The Breakfast Club". Bummed me out--I always thought my dad invented it.
