Quilling? Quilling & scrapping?

Does anyone here do Quilling? I was surprised to find that you can buy pre-made Quilling designs. It made me wonder why they are available. I mean, if you were making cards or something I'd think it would get too expensive to buy them instead of make them.

So I'm guessing that maybe people use them in their scrapbooks? I was just wondering because of the whole acid/ligni free thing. I'd gotten DD some Quilling supplies at Christmas just because she likes doing it. Now I'm thinking about all the places in our Disney album I could use pieces like Mickey icons, flower for Epcot's Flower & Garden Festival...

So does anyone use Quilling in their albums?

Does anyone just do Quilling for other items? Care to share ideas?
