Quility Inn and Suites at the Park

Has anyone stayed here? How far to the park? Can I take the ART? Is it walkable? What is the best route to take if walking?

I had a great long response until I realized the one we stay at is the Quality Inn and Suites on S. Manchester since it is a fairly close (think 15 min) walk to the esplanade. Oops! Now I'm curious to see what others say about the one on the W Katella side of things.
