Hi Guys,

My entire family loves the Quiksilver brand. We find it quite pricey over here and so like to buy one or two (or seven or eight :teeth: ) things when over in Orlando.

So far I have only found Summer Sands in Downtown Disney that sells Quiksilver / Roxy branded clothes, bags etc. I love it in here and when you can catch a sale it is great! However I feel sure there must be better choice and value elsewhere?

Anyone have any idea where I could and should look?

If they do children's clothes my DDs would be most happy :)

Hi Karen

Quiet Flight is a great surf shop at Citywalk within Universal Orlando. They stock lots of Quiksilver clothes at great prices, too. I found the staff extremely helpful and the shop is of a large size. Their children's range was particularly extensive.

Karen,

There is a Quiksilver Boardrider's store at the Mall At Millenia.
It is pretty big and probably the best place for you.

And as Frances said at the Quiet Flight store at Universal, Ron Jon's also stock a very limited range.

There is also a very good surf store called Boardwalk, I think there is still one at Pointe Orlando but the main one is on the 192 in Kissimmee just opposite the Gooding's 24 hour supermarket and close to the Nike factory store.

Thanks Frances!

Now that is fortuitous seeing as we are spending a few nights at Universal in August!

That sounds ideal, thank you.

Johnny - thank you as well, I was posting at the same time as you and hadn't realised you had replied (sorry!)

I must admit I have never been to the Mall at Millenia - I have always assumed it would be too highbrow for us. So I will go now (just goes to show you shouldn't make assumptions I guess  )

Sorry , yes wasn't trying to disrespect Frances, but thought you should know that the only Quiksilver store in Orlando is at the M&M.

It is a posh mall yes, but there are many stores for us regular folk too and a decent food court - well worth a visit.

Johnny - any other nearby markers apart from the 24 hour Goodings and Nike Factory store on the 192? I get ever so confused on the 192 as sometimes I find everything looks the same ;)

Am I right in thinking it is on the same sde of the road and quite closeish to Water Mania (or where Water Mania was, I should say)

Yes it is on the same side as where Water Mania used to be , there a few shops a little bit set back from the road and the Boardwalk is the first one of these on the left - there is a massive Nike factory store just around the corner from it.

Between mile markers 8 & 9 - here is the link that will show you:

I bought loads of Roxy stuff last week at Pacsun. I went to 2 Pacsun shops, one at the Mall of the Millenia and the other at the Orlando Premium Outlets. Both shops had the clothes at the same price.

I'm sure there was a few 'surf' type shops at the Florida Mall that sold Quiksilver stuff.

At the premium outlets and florida mall their is a store called 'Pacsun' or pacific sun, its a national store and they sell loads of roxy, billabong, quiksilver for good prices, their tilt jeans are good too, as i find their do short length which is good for me. I spent quite a fortune in that store and am wearing a billabong jumper and a roxy shirt at the moment. Also one of the stores at mk sells surfy names and their is a surf store at downtown disney.

Pacsun can also be found at the Florida Mall and Festival Bay.
They do represent good value for money if you are after a bargain although they tend not to stock the current range.

In addition many of the better Department stores have a small range of Quiksilver/Roxy wear, the store at M&M/Quiet Flight/Boardwalk would be the best places to go if you want to buy the current seasons range and also offer a larger selection.

You must go to Mall at Millenia! There are lots of upscale shops but also Macys and Bloomingdales which always seem to have sales on. We like Baby Gap there too.

The food court is great- we have had some nice lunches there. We went for lunch at The Cheesecake Factory last time. My goodness, I have never seen so much food. The menu is like a phone directory. The starters were like a main course. We had to get cheesecake to go, we ate it in our DVC villa that night watching Lost on DVD while DD slept! Cannot get better than that! Despite the overly huge portions, I do recommend it.

Mandy ::MinnieMo (who knows nothing aboout surf clothes but loves Mall at Millenia)

As you're staying in USF, you'll be quite close to Festival Bay for Ron Jon's. Well worth a visit!

Pacsun are great :sunny: DDs always make straight for any branch of Pacsun wherever we are in other parts of Florida, although we've never made it to one in Orlando.

Thank you very much for all your help everyone!

Lots of places to check out :) :)

Karen whilst at Mall at Millenia why not try Hollister -they stock "sufer" type clothes too but they are their own brand! Check out the website
www.hollisterco.com

There's also a Hollister at the Florida Mall. DS bought several pairs of jeans and t-shirts from there. Quite reasonably priced - and all his mates over here think they must be expensive designer ones!
