I'm responsible for keeping about 20 kids quiet and behaved while waiting in line tonight (for our drama club show tonight...we need them for the finale).

Besides Simon Says, Telephone, and I Spy, what are some quiet game ideas that I can use to keep the kids busy?

Wow, that is a lot of boys. I would play the silent game:idea: I tell them whoever is silent the longest, wins a dollar, and upwards, depending on the ages.

Good luck with that, it could be worse, they could be 20 girls:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

You could tell them (quietly) a story or read a story to them. Almost all kids will sit still and listen.

sleeping lions....everyone keeps still, if they move their out, last person still is the winner.

I love the idea of a story book! I'll see if I can find one.

Mommasita, we already tried the silent game and it didn't work as planned...they communicated with coughs :confused3 Thanks for the ideas though!

Any other ideas?

You can play who can get out of their duct tape the quickest and quietest?:lmao: Just kidding! I couldn't help myself.:sad2: There's no hope for me. Anyway- I don't have any great ideas but I wish you luck.princess:

When we were kids we used to play this on purpose:

Two kids face eachother and try to keep a straight face and try to outstare eachother.

That's it, but we used to love that game. Or a variation is to stare with one kid making faces at the other trying to make the other laugh, but the goal is to not laugh.
