Excuse me, I am having a blonde moment, can someone help me?

I am looking at booking with Expedia flight and accomodation - does this constitute a package and receive 3.5% cash back? Or is it considered a flight and hotel booking with 1% and 7.2 % back respectivley?

I just can't seem to get my head around it at the mo!

Thanks Guys!

Thanks:rotfl: I was avoiding this, hoping someone else knew.
I guess its classed as a package as you are not booking them seperate. You are doing the 1 transaction so I doubt they can pay you 2 different amounts on the same one. 99% sure its the 3.5%

I'm afraid they're separate, Expedia only consider true packages ie first choice or cosmos as packages for the purpose of discounts. We only ever get 1%

See how much the hotel is being discounted, I've found expedia more expensive than going direct to virgin and booking the hotel either direct or via another site like laterooms.com or similar.

Totally agree, I haven't used Expedia for a few years now, they used to be good but got expensive. They do have the odd offer but usually can be beaten elsewhere.

Another thing to consider is that cashback is usually on the airfare price only and not on the airfare with tax added
