Has anyone used Quicksilver Tours for their airport transfer? If so, do you give them thumbs up or thumbs down? :earsboy:

On another note, I was planning to use a taxi a few times while at WDW (resort to dinner show, etc.) b/c of timing. Will $10 one way be sufficient including tip? It's been a LONG time since I've used a taxi and need a little guidance for budgeting.

We have heard nothing but good things about Quicksilver and are using them next week. Will let you know how it goes.

We've used them and give them a wholeheartedly thumbs up.

One thing we *really* liked is that we got the same driver both ways. He remembered things we had said on the way in, and asked if we'd done them while on the way out. It allowed us to relive our trip over again (as if we needed an excuse! LOL!)

We also liked the lengthy grocery stop. In the past, we'd felt pressured to 'make it quick' with other companies, but with 30 minutes, it makes us able to make our way around the store AND decide what we need.

Boy, that's great to hear! We, too, are booked with them. I liked the idea of the 30 minute grocery stop which we will use. There was a prompt confirmation to my online reservation. I also emailed back another question and had a response within a half hour. So far, so good! :wave2:

Good, I'm glad to hear they were so prompt! We might book with them again when we go in December - we are renting a car for the week, but it's soooo much easier for us to turn the car in at the Dolphin, then get Gregory (from Quicksilver) to get us back to the airport. I don't like turning rental cars back in - I just like to be dropped off and go! :D

The long grocery stop is a nice surprise - I don't think there's any other limo company that offers one that long.

I heartily recommend Quicksilver too.

Not only was the transportation itself pleasant but the communication between myself and the company prior to my trip was excellent.

Question for those of you who have used the 30 min. grocery stop with Quicksilver - Is it a full grocery that you stop at or a convenience store? I would like to avoid packing a weeks worth of pull-up's for my 2 1/2 year old if possible. I'm not sure they would be available to purchase from a convenience store. Thanks in advance for any information on this. :earsboy:

Great! I'm psyched everyone has liked them. I just haven't heard a whole lot about these guys and wanted to make sure I made the right decision. :p

Does anyone know about an estimate cab fare just around WDW?

Thanks!!

They stop at regular grocery stores. I will be using Quicksilver in April and will be doing the grocery stop at Publix. But there are other grocery stores like WinnDixie and Albertson's that they will stop at.

Thanks!!!!

kandmwedding - their website I believe is quicksilver-tours.com. They seem to be have reasonable prices on their transfers. :)
