Quickest way in the morning to Poly from BC: bus to the TTC from BC? Or MK only?

Trying to figure out what my transporation options will be for Tonga Toast from Captain Cook's in the morning before rope drop at MK. Is there a bus from BC that goes to the TTC or just to the MK only? If there is a bus that will go there, I figure that will be the fastest so I can walk over to the Poly. If not, is my only option to bus to the MK and then take the resort monorail? TIA!

You have a few options, though I'm not certain of what all will be running that early. All involve first riding the bus to MK (there isn't one to the TTC from BC):

- Ride the GF/Poly boat from MK. If it's running, this can be faster than the resort monorail, because it only stops at GF before the Poly.

- Ride the express monorail from MK to TTC and walk to Poly from TTC. No stops to wait for in this scenario, along with a 5-minute walk to the Poly.

- Ride the resort monorail to Poly. A few stops, but at least it drops you directly in front of the resort.

There is no bus from Beach Club to TTC, only to MK.

When buses are running to MK, the Resort Monorail should also be running. Officially, both begin running one hour before MK opening.

Taking a bus to MK, then taking a Monorail to Poly, then having breakfast at Poly, and then taking a Monorail back to MK, you're unlikely to get you to MK before rope drop.

We do have a rental car, so that is probably our best option. I was hoping to avoid driving since we have a wine tasting at Jiko that afternoon and will want to take the bus from MK to the AKL. We can just come back and get the car when we are sober. :)

If you want to eat at another resort and want to make rope drop and you will be drinking later and will have come back to either the TTC or the Poly after being at AKL I would just take a taxi in the AM to the Poly from the BC and plan on using Disney transportation the rest of the trip.

How will you get back to BC from AKL? You would have to take a bus to an open park and then transfer to the BC bus there. You could take a cab back I guess.
To get to the Polynesian early? Take an early bus to MK...they start by 6:30am. The monorail starts around 7am...so bus to MK, then monorail over to the Polynesian. You should be able to get your Tonga Toast fix and then over to MK for rope drop.

I did think about doing a taxi also in the morning. We are planning to have dinner at boma after the wine tasting and then go back to poly for drinks on the beach to watch the water pageant and fireworks from the poly beach. So maybe a taxi is our best option. Anyone know about how much a taxi would cost from BC to Poly?

Not an option. The boats start about 30 minutes before MK opening.

The only option.

The boat might be an option back to MK for RD, but the resort monorail would be safer IMHO.

Buses start running about 6:30, and the Resort Monorail opens at 7. If on the first bus, it should be possible to get to Poly by 7:30. The RD show starts about 15 minutes before MK opening time, so I would probably want to be back at the Poly monorail platform by 8:15 for a 9 a.m. opening. Fortunately, the door to the monorail station is practically right next to Kona.
