I searched and found that the boats between Hollywood Studios and Epcot and walking took about the same time. What about the Skyliner? It will be about 130pm for park hopping. Also, we have a car, and are staying at Yacht Club. I assume it would still be quicker to drive to AK and take a bus to MK for rope drop?

Quickest is going to be a brisk walk most of the time. Skyliner and boat will be roughly the same amount of time.

You get on the first bus as you likely will see the cars still being held at gates while busses are being let through.

MK we saw up to 1hr and 15min early. The AK bus was roughly 45min early which was more than early enough to get through FOP with little wait and have been on every ride by like 11am with a 8am park opening.

uber to contemporary, then walk to MK.

If you want to book breakfast and actually eat there. Otherwise they have the rules for no off-site guests arriving via vehicle for a reason.

I routinely stay at BWV...my home resort. As far as the fastest way to DHS? Well....my friend and I left Epcot just as the boat was leaving. The boat beat us to BW, but we were walking into DHS as the boat came around the bend...so beat it by about 5 mins. We walk at a normally brisk pace.
Going to DAK? I've been driving. But, realize that you could be in a distant area of the lot, and the trams may not be running. For MK? The bus is always the best idea, even if there is a wait.

One of the things I find on this website with any search is to check the date of the various posts. Many threads go on for lots of pages and what may have been true/accurate 2+ yrs ago may no longer be correct. Obviously, with Disney changes related to covid, you also have to consider how recent the information is. I wish they would just delete threads that have hundreds of pages since it is easy to see some outdated information if you don't carefully check when it was posted.

Oh man, I read that as drive to AK and take a bus from AK to MK to rope drop and was so confused as to how that could possibly be faster than just taking a bus from your resort to the MK. 🤦‍♀️

Agree! I try to go to the most recent posts and work backwards sometimes! I'm sure it is very difficult for the mods to delete outdated info, but it would be a great help. I have seen how they do close some posts to comments.

Sorry! I should have but punctuation between the two separate days!

Selective use of the 'ignore' feature also helps. Some old thread with 200+ pages about whatever isn't of any value to me, so I just put the OP who started it on ignore and it disappears!!! The daily nonsense threads also aren't of interest to me either, so I put those who start them on ignore. Helps to eliminate the clutter when looking at newly posted subjects.
