I have searched using those words and can't seem to fine an answer. What is the quickest route once entering the park? Thanks!

Jen

I believe it is to head into Dinoland hang a left and take the path that runs by the Nemo show.

The masses generally don't go the Dinoland route, but if you're stuck behind a large crowd it can be faster. Close call.

If you're a very fast walker, you can beat the cast-member led crowd by going through Dinoland. But it's a longer distance.

The primary route, through ASIA, is closer to the ride entrances and FP distribution.

The secondary route, through DINOLAND, is closer to the mountain, itself.

Another vote for the Dinoland/Nemo Express. At the Tree, wifey goes left to the Safari while I go to EE for FastPasses. I'm usually there before the Asia travelers. Back when the CMs would walk the Asia crowd down behind a rope held between them it was no contest.

Ok, so it sounds like Dinoland might have the majority. Just trying to get some last minute tips before our trip next week! We have never been on EE! We finally made it to AK on our last Disney trip, and EE was shut down for the day....just as we were almost to the front of the line...after waiting in line a good 45mn. So this time we're heading straight to EE instead of doing the Safari first.

Resurrecting this one... is the Dinoland route still faster nowadays? Robo's map looks like the Asia route is faster.

Are there still CMs walking guests behind a rope?

We're hitting EE first thing, and can't return using FP.

When are you going? We've never had more than 10-15min wait before 10:00 in sept, oct, jan or feb. and we typically go in a weekend. Many times we get right back in line 2-3times

I find it's much faster to head towards Dinoland (but staying left, not actually entering Dinoland) and going past Nemo than going the other way. It seems that most people head along the other path, including everyone heading for the Safari, so the Dinoland path is a lot less crowded.

Go either way you'd like.
(Asia route is just a bit shorter to the ride ENTRANCE.)

The "walking guests to the attraction" should be a thing of the past, as now (since within the last 45 days, or so) they no longer have an internal Rope Drop Holding area.

Expect the DAK gates to be opened to guests anywhere from 15-30 minutes before the posted time, and once entered, guests may proceed to their
first attraction of choice.

Just made a new map to show the areas in question.

Guests headed for Safari don't turn toward Dinoland or Asia at all.
(Unless they are very, very lost.) ;)

And, guests headed to Asia are initially heading in the same direction as those heading to Dinoland.

Once Safari-bound guests cross the main bridge to Discovery Island from the Oasis, they
veer to the LEFT around the Tree of Life.

Dinoland and the Asia main entrance are to the RIGHT around the Tree of Life.

I find the Asia route faster, for the reasons that Robo outlined. You get to the ride entrance faster, and way faster to the FP distribution. Last week, they let us in at 8:45 am, and I had ridden 5 times by 9:15!
