Quickest and EASIEST way from the GF to...

MGM- buses (are they really crowded and slow) or Monorail to Epcot and then boat to MGM?

DTD- any easy way or just take the bus? How long does it take?

Trying to plan itinerary and choose PS. I know it's early, but geez... I'm a die hard, first-born, meticulous, obsessive-compulsive, every detail must be perfect, DIS addict!!!

Buses definitely faster and much less walking. Unless you are planning to spend time in Epcot, going to Epcot to get to MGM is much longer and you have to walk a great deal from the monorail to the boat to MGM. Buses are only crowded during peak times, early morning and after park closings.But boats and monorail will be crowded at the same times.
