Well, I was in Orlando for a college graduation, so a quick walk through the fort was in order. Here are my thoughts in no particular order....
The lack of Disney installed Christmas/Holiday decorations still amaze me. Years ago (70's) FW was really a magical place
The amount of decorations installed by campers really amaze me. the site in the 100 loop was over the top, but as i really like the 1600 loop the one there was great also.
The new pool looked great. I was happy to see folks swimming and kids playing in it.
The landscaping is still looking a little sparse, but a lot better than when I was there November 2008.
The new sites in the 600 loop (save a couple) are really somewhere i would like to stay.
I didn't see any lime green Mickeys
Even with my short walk through, I saw what i would say were underage golf cart drivers.
There were more utility trailers in the day use lot than I have ever seen.
Even with the new set up, it would be easy for someone to drive in to deliver a golf cart. I think if some of the companies remain low key they will be able to keep delivering.
Lots of empty spaces. I figure it will fill up this week.
