Hello everyone ...this board has been my best friend regarding my planning. Even if I don't know any of you personally , your suggestions and opinions count more than anybody elses !! Here is my doubt...we will be in DLP from Tuesday Dec. 26th ( late afternoon) until Sunday Dec.31st early morning ( a day we can't use to visit DLP since airplane leaves at 12:00 noon).
Our girls have never been to PAris ( 4 and 6yrs) but I think it's important just to go for a quick sight. My plan was to do it Saturday afternoon, after having a Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfast and tour DLP until lunch time and then go to Paris early afternoon. The reason I thought of Saturday is that it's a very busy day at DLP..and in order not to go crazy, we would go to PAris...BUT then I thought that is our LAST day and night there...SO....should I just try and pick an afternoon during the week and go to the park in Saturday all day and spend our last day there...or will it be so crowded that I'm doing well in leaving the park on the 30th and going into PAris.
It may sound like a dumb dilema, but after reading everydy's report on trips...it seems that the last day is pretty sad...it's hard to leave the MAgic ..any suggestions are greatly appreciated ! Thanks again ! :sunny:

I think really having been to Paris several times you really would be best going midweek. As you will know, virtually all big cities are busier at weekends anyway, so you would just be trading one crowd for another. Maybe Friday might be better, that way you should have done the majority of the major attractions but still have the last day to re-visit your favs and say a sad farewell to Mickey.

If you are like us then the last day is soooo hard to get away from the Disney magic.

But whatever you decide Paris is far too beautiful not to see!

We will also be at DLP over Christmas.

Another consideration is that the parks themselves become hectic from the 28th onwards as the locals and day-trips start up after being fairly quiet from the 24th-27th.

Because of that reason we are planing to go to Paris on the 28th. Its a Thursday so hopefully we get the best of both worlds. paris a little quieter and away from the parks when the crowds attack.

Whatever you decide - you will have a great time - its extra Magical at Chrsitmas.
