Quick update-just returned from Vero Oct 14-18

Quick Mon-Fri trip. OV inn room. Just 2 adults. Great time as usual. Resort was not crowded, fun time for kids and adults at the pool. Perfect weather. Thursday Buffet ended the week before but it will return when busy season returns, we were told. Room was very nice, no bedspreads (a good thing). Our balcony (room 2333) was a disappointment as it was very, very small and had the solid wall but we were hardly on the balcony since the weather was so wonderful and we were always out and about. We find October to be a great time to enjoy the Vero Beach resort. We ate at the Mulligans in Sebastian (there is another in Vero Beach) for breakfast once and for dinner once. Both times had a great experience, it was nice overlooking the Indian River lagoon on a moonlit night, food was very good, prices were good too and no crowds. Have fun.

That is a really great time to vacation at VB as the weather is still warm and there are no crowds. In fact the summers can get really hot there.

We go the first week of May which is always nice, as well. Where is Mulligan's? We may have to check that out.
