We went to IOA/US on Tuesday 8/21 and really had a great time. Some quick takes...

IOA
Hulk was down for most of the day, so we missed it this time around.
JP broke down right after we came down the fall and we sat in the boat for about 20 minutes. They gave us vouchers for one ride, but we got to use it on 6 rides because no one took it from us! That was great.
Ate at Mythos and it was good, but the best theme park restaurant? I don't know.

US
Was really let down by Shrek. It felt like nothing really happened.
Loved the Mummy...best ride at the US park.
My GF having to put her bag into those lockers before certain rides was awful. Why don't they have the little nets where you can put bags like Disney? Also, she had to do it for the MIB ride. It makes sense on coasters, but MIB?
Looking forward to the Simpsons ride.

Did you get to ride Spiderman? That's the best ride at IOA IMO, close with JP though.

I agree that Mummy is the best at the old park, with MIB being a close 2nd.

We didn't have an issue with the bag thing on any ride except the Mummy. But we normally travel pretty light into the parks.

Spiderman is the best ride in both parks. I meant the Mummy is the best at the old park.

Before they changed the seating, they had netting for carry-on stuff. I guess they changed it something went flying out of the car.

Glad you had a good time! :thumbsup2

MIB Spins a lot, people don't always know that ahead of time so possibly they dont secure their items as well as they should, hence the lockers.

I agree. There must have been some incidents which made them change their policy.
