:D THE DISBOARDS HELPED ME A LOT. Planning is a must to go to the parks. I got the best dates, and intineraries here. I got tips and secrets that made my vacations special. I have to thank everybody here, specially the moderators and Peter for doing this wonderful work

:( THIS IS THE SAD PART OF MY TRIP: I'm fine now, but I had some anxiety attacks on this trip. My therapist told me that it was due the extreme planning and anticipation that I did. Be careful if you have this kind of problem (and personality)

;) REMEMBER TO DO WHAT YOU LIKE TO DO: I like good hotel rooms, this is a great deal for me, but I ignored that I made a reservation thinking only in my budget. In the other hand I budget too much money for food, on vacation I tend to forget to eat because I'm having too much fun to stop.

 DO NOT TRY TO DO THINGS JUST BECAUSE EVERYBODY ELSE IS DOING: Our first day we tried this. We ended very tired and commando. The second we tried a different approach: we'll do as we please, eat when feel we like, and avoid the mass. Worked fine.

 KNOW BEFORE YOU GO: it avoid embarrassments. Like Not giving tip or giving less then 10% (that already on the check in Brazil, but not in US).
...The first time we ate on sit down restaurants we got mad at the poor waiter, that's because here we consider extreme impolite to bring the bill when we're eating or did not ask for it. hehehe Talk about learning diplomacy!!!

 CAPTURE THE MOMENT IN YOUR MIND: it worked for me. Every time something really special was happening I tried to remember it. It's better than a photo.
On the little mermaid show I saw a father that was more concern in tapping the show (that was not even aloud) that missed this wonderful glow in his daughter eyes when she saw Ariel.

HIGHLIGHTS OF MY TRIP:
-CHEF MICKEY
-ILUMINATIONS
-PETER PAN FIGHT (always)
-THE LITTLE CHILDREN FACES WHEN THEY SEE A CHARACTER
-MERRY POPPINS WAVING TO ME!!!
-GETTING SOAKED ON WET RIDES
-JUNIOR MINTS
-THE BAND THAT PLAYED FOR US WHEN WE'RE INSIDE THE POOH RIDE WAITING
-THE LADY FROM MISSISSIPPI THAT I MEET ON THE PLANE
-JACK-O-RITA
-NACHOS WITH CHEESE AND THOSE BEANS THAT I DONT KNOW THE NAME
-"THE SQUIRELL"

WHAT ME MISSED:
-TAPESTRY OF NATIONS
-PLEASURE ISLAND
-ALL THE MINOR ATTRACTIONS OF ORLANDO
-BUYING EVERYTHING (sad part and difficult task)
-BRINGING A AUTOGRAPH OF EEYORE (the only one I wanted)
-THE FIREWORKS AT THE CASTLE
-GOING TO A AMERICAN BAPTIST CHURCH

NEXT TIME WILL BE DIFFERENT:
-WE'LL STAY AT WDW!!!
-WE'LL NOT DO UNIVERSAL AND BUSH GARDENS
-WE'LL HAVE MORE DISNEY DAYS
-I WILL TALK MORE TO THE CMs (I promise to take more english classes)
-I WILL WATCH OUT FOR THOSE little LIZARDS AT BLIZZARD BEACH, AND WILL NEVER STEP ON ONE OF THEM AGAIN (i screamed for 10 minutes and the poor thing was more scare them me)
-I HOPE I CAN BRING A CHILD OF MY OWN BY THEN ;)

:smooth: ROMANCE TIP: We had the opportunity to seen a side of each other very difficult to seen on the "real world". We act like kids, dated like adolescents, kissed like strangers and sleep like babies [hey! what do you want after a day in the parks?? ;) ]

Thank you for your wonderful reports! I especially liked your romance tip ;)

Great tips! And I totally agree with the "acting like kids" part. WDW is the only place that can have this effect on us!

Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for sharing another side of the Disney vacation. We natives sometimes forget not eveyone is "from" the US--doesn't make them different, we should just be better diplomats. Next trip you'll be a pro! So glad you came and be sure to come back!

a LOT better than my Portugese!

Thank you, too, for reminding us there are two sides to every international misunderstanding -

You'll do just fine your next trip here - and by then you'll have taught your "cowboy" a few words of English too.

Those are great tips. Thanks for sharing. Sounds like you had a good trip.

Thank you for posting your trip reports. I just finished reading all of them, and I enjoyed them so much.
I can relate to your reaction on this trip about reliving the memories of your trip as a child. I never approach the castle without remembering the feeling I had as a child when I first saw the castle in Disneyland. (WDW wasn't around when I was a child) The magic of that moment always returns.
Your reports were wonderful and filled my heart with many good feelings this evening.
Thank you.

Leticia:

Thanks for your trip report. I am sure you and your "cowboy" husband had a wonderful time and it was great of you to share it with us. Keep your eye on these boards, for they help even us, escravos do real, to afford to stay on site. Unfortunatelly, most of the planes nowadays have really tiny economy seats. Next time, you can try to get a seat in the middle row, next to the emergency doors. These seats usually are farther away from the next row of seats and you can stretch your legs. Good luck with the baby project! :)

Great report .. I loved reading it :) Love the tips too!! You are absolutely right about spending on whats important to you and doing what YOU want to do.. glad you two had such a good time :)
