I just returned from a quick 2-day trip over Memorial day weekend. We did MK both days, Saturday and Sunday.
I'm going to start with the Ugly, because the Good definitely outweighs it.
The Ugly - I watched a grown woman (late 30s, early 40s) flip off and say F you to a CM at the Peter Pan FP entrance. My jaw dropped in shock and the woman saw me and I too got the same gesture, a flip and an F you. At Disney World. In line for Peter Pan. Around all those kids. Imagine what this woman must be like on a normal non Disney day!
The Bad - Daytime crowds were the thickest I have ever seen, however, being a holiday weekend, I expected this. In some spots (around PP and IASW) it was hard to walk through (Crowds thinned considerably after wishes). I learned the hard way that my son, that doesn't nap at home, definitely needs a nap at WDW (and me too!). We were that family that was all having a melt down.
The Good - This was my son's first trip. The character interactions with him are moments I will cherish forever! All the CM's were amazing, I didn't encounter one without a smile. The new FP+ is amazing - we averaged about 6-7 FP each day. And the Disney magic is real. My son **hates** fireworks, but he was mesmerized by Wishes. Watching him watch Wishes was just magical!
