I would say yes ~ you should tip housekeeping if they are doing a good job of keeping your room clean, supplied with towels, toiletries, etc. I usually leave that for DH to handle so I'm not sure on how much he leaves, but I have heard from others that $1 per person per day is good.
I really don't think you have time to get into that discussion!!
The short version of my answer is that tipping is a choice and you don't have to tip anyone. WDW does not consider housekeeing to be a tipped position.
Have a wonderful time! We will be staying at A-SS in July so be sure to give a review when you get back.
I have prepared little envelopes the say "To Mousekeeping" from the Dunnigan Family - and I have put $4 in each envelope - there are 2 adults and 2 kids with us..... if your on a plane it might be something you could do with some stickers and a few envelopes if you have time - if not don't worry about it and just have a great time!!! Five hours - how exciting!!!
Thanks for the fast replies! I don't know when i've been more excited! I still don't know what I'm going to do.Probably tip-I have 4 kids.3 rooming w/ me and DH .Pretty messy.
