At the world now. Tomorrow will be day 5 of my 5 day tickets. Can I add a 6th day after I enter DHS in the morning? How much will it cost? I forgot to do it today. Thanks!

Yes, I believe so--just be sure to do it before you leave. Cost should be $10 plus tax.

The ticket must have at least one remaining admission in order to add days. I wouldn't risk entering the park and then adding the day. I would add the day prior to entering the park. Not sure at what point they consider that day's admission to be used.

Ack! Is there a guest relations or whatever outside the gate?

This totally slipped my mind today.

Yes, if you want to completely safe, I don't blame you. But I still think I'm right and you can do it once you've entered. ;)

Sorry to hijack, but if you buy tickets and say that you'll pick them up at will call, but add them to your MDX, or whatever acronym we're using now, do I still have to go to will call, or will it automatically be on my Magic Band?

Ditto.

The last time a guest can upgrade a stand-alone ticket is no later than ON the same day that the last ticket asset is/was used.

BTW, with the eventual conversion of all guests having access to MagicBands, this rule may disappear entirely for users of MagicBands, and the timing rule could jump back to the original "must be upgraded within the first 14 days following a ticket's first use."

Oh, no! Robo. Could that mean people would be selling "slightly used" Magic Bands to suckers at the gas stations again, kinda like the old days? I mean, everybody wants one!

Irresistible bling!

I upgraded before entering the park just to be safe. But it wasn't $10 + tax. Thank you Disney for the price increase since I originally got my tickets. I knew about the increase but there was nothing I could do. It was $26 per ticket.

I think you got robbed. I would have asked for manager and asked how the $26 was calculated.

I could've questioned it I suppose. I figured it had to do with the $4 more per day. And it had something to do with the amount of days I already bought and making up the difference between new and old prices.

Live and learn. Hopefully, someone else can learn or benefit from my experience.

I was ready to get into the parks and start my day. It was $60ish more than I planned. What's $60 more dollars when I have dropped a few thousand already. (No I am not made of money but the $60 isn't gonna break me. :) )

I agree with mesaboy2. I think you got robbed. Your tickets were used and you should have gotten full price value when calculating the cost of your ticket upgrade. It should have been $10.65 to add Day 6. You can write to Disney and include the numbers on the back of your ticket that they can look up. They should reimburse you for the overcharge.

Depends on when the ticket was purchased and the type of ticket. Disney does not price bridge tickets that were purchased at gate price. So if you bought a ticket 2 years ago and used it on this trip you do need to pay the difference between the old price and the current price for the ticket. This has been the policy since June 2013.

I can't say for sure what happened with your ticket because I don't know the type but that is my guess.

Where did you buy your tickets?

If a mistake was made calculating the ticket upgrade price, it will be corrected with a refund, if applicable, upon written request even days later when you get back home.
