quick ticket question

I'm planning on purchasing the 5 for 3 hopper tickets online. How far in advance do I have to do this? Does Disney send the tickets in the mail, or do they just email me something that I have to pick up at the will call windows at the park gates?

If you purchase them on the Disney website you can print them out right that minute. No need to purchase in advance. You take the ticket you print right to the turnstiles and they will trade you for a little card.

However....I wouldn't do it the minute you are ready to leave since they email it to you and some people have waited several hours to get them. Most get them in a few minutes.

Hey, do all entrances have the plastic ticket that can be used for fast pass when you go in?

Do they scan the card too so that the fast pass does indeed work?

I was wondering if the Grand's California entrance would have the exchanged cards to give you or not?

The ticket they give you is cardboard, not plastic. Yes, it'll work in the FP machine. I would assume the GCH entrance would be able to do this too, but have no actual experience with it.

Yes, they scan at both entrances....and keep track of which park you are in!
