Quick Ticket Question

We are heading to the world in 13 days and will be picking up our tickets at the local Disney store prior to leaving.

We do not have park hopping in our plans. Base tickets are much cheaper than hoppers of course so here are my 2 questions.

Can you leave and return to the same park on the same day with a base ticket? Can you use two base tickets to enter two parks in one day? Like I said we have no plans to hop but I thought I would add an extra day to each ticket for $2 in case something came up, we would have that extra entrance on the ticket. I doubt we will do it since we had no desire to hop last time we went.

You can reenter a park on the same ticket - the same day - but need 30 minutes between departing and returning - to prevent multiple users on one ticket.
And yes, you can use different two basics at two different parks. Good idea! Saves $.

You cannot hop with a base ticket. If you attempt to, the turnstile will not unlock, the Guest side will say "Access Denied" and the Greeter side will give some information about your ticket and say "Crossover Not Permitted".

The greeter will politely tell you to either (1) go to a ticket or Guest Services window to upgrade, (2) go back to the original park, or (3) just go away.

You can leqve and re-enter a specific park several times during the day, but only the same park if you do not have the hopper option.

Sorry, but this information is incorrect.

I do not believe you have to wait 30 minutes. The biometric scan attaches a ticket to a specific person so multiple users is not an issue.

And no you CANNOT use two days from a non-park hopping ticket to park hop.
