Quick Ticket ? Paper or Plastic :)

Forgive me for asking a simple question, but the blue dog is getting on my nerves. (Board's search engine)

If I order from GAT, and pick-up at the DL window, will the tickets only be paper for my whole stay? (3 day hoppers)

If I order from Disneyland on-line, and print tickets, will I get plastic at the gate?

I was really hoping for the plastic for ease of fastpass collecting, and they are more durable. Will I survive the paper if I don't use a plastic lanyard type thing?

As far as I know, unless you buy tix from the Disney Store or get a package with "souvenir tickets", you're getting paper tickets.

Wallet or lanyard pouch are your best bets for keeping them dry and safe.
