We (hubby, 5 yr old girl twins, and me) are going to disney for the first time on wednesday aug 18th. We booked our table service meals but have no idea where to go for quick service meals. we will be visiting all 4 parks and we will be staying at the coronado spring.

Please give suggestions for all your favorite quick service meals?

Thanks.

Here are some menu links:

I love Columbia Harbor house for the lighthouse sandwich

Sunshine seasons in Epcot has alittle of everything. http://allears.net/menu/men_ssff.htm We like and split the smoke ham sandwich

Hollywood Studios has NOTHING I want for CS. Yuck, http://allears.net/menu/menu_srb.htm I get pastries at Staring Rolls and a drink.

Animal Kingdom Pizzafari is good for kids. http://allears.net/menu/menu_piz.htm Or get the Turkey on Swiss at Tamu Tamu. Another one we split. http://allears.net/menu/menu_tam.htm

We love Cosmic Rays in Magic Kingdom. The kids would love it too as it has a little bit of entertainment too.

In Hollywood studios, I like nothing but if I were you I would probably pick pizza planet.

I have no suggestions in epcot as we always eat table service there, and in Animal Kingdom we always eat Flame tree but I think it might be closed for renovations.

Our cs choices.....Pecos Bills has a yummy toppings bar for a delicious hamburger. Flametree BBQ has good ribs, Have not eaten CS at HS... Epcot has pretty good cs. Tangarine Cafe is yummy, Biergarten has good brats, Japan has an ok CS, Norway has good sandwiches. England has good fish and chips CS. The Electric Umbrella was not good. :sad2: We also really liked the cs at POR, POP and AKL.

for breakfast we eat at the resort we stay at . my kids only eat mickey waffles when at disney .

One of my favorites at Hollywood Studios is Min and Bill's Dockside Diner--the Chicken Caesar Sandwich is delicious, and my husband and I found it to be enough to feed two adults.

The American Pavilion in EPCOT has some good things...normal food like hamburgers & such...things young kids are familiar with.
Casey's in MK is good for a quick hot dog or snack...also a great place to sit & watch the parade
I agree about Peco's Bills...VERY good. Love the hamburgers & chicken wrap!
HS...good luck.... nothing too stellar there that I have had. I'm trying to figure out where to go there as well for quick service meals. We'll probably try Pizza Planet.
Have a magical time on your vacation! There's nothing like seeing seeing Disney thru your child's eyes. You won't ever forget it!:yay:

My favorites are: Wolfgang Puck in DD, Cosmic Rays in MK, Pecos Bills in MK,
Sunshine Seasons in EP, POP Century Food Court and Port Orleans Riverside Food Court. DH agrees with these choices.

Tops for us are the following:

Sunshine Seasons at Epcot, lots of choices for everyone.

Wolfgang Express at Downtown Disney. Two locations both good but prefer the one in Market Place. Excellent food!

Port Orleans Riverside Mill food court. The create your own pasta or salad is a very good value!! They have other items to suit your family.

Pepper Market food court at Coronado Springs. Lots of great choices. More expensive than most QS places to good value on dining plan.

Flame Tree BBQ is good at Animal Kingdom but has outside seating only.

I like Columbia Harbor House, Sunshine Seasons, the fish and chip shop at Epcot, the CS by Yak and Yeti (the name escapes me -- it has chinese food), Pecos Bill's, Wolfgang Puck Express, and Earl of Sandwich.

I also really like the food court at Port Orleans Riverside. At dinner they have a "build your own pasta" option, plus turkey/mashed potatoes/veggies that are very good.

I'm putting in another vote for Pecos Bill's at MK. Very good. At Epcot, my personal favorite is Tangerine Cafe, but Sunshine Seasons is also very good, and would probably be better with kids. The choices at HS are very slim, although, I think they have good sandwiches at Starring Rolls and the desserts are to die for:goodvibes. At AK I would definitely go with Flame Tree or Yak & Yeti CS. At DTD, I really like Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck Express. In that order.

MK - Columbia Harbour (fish, shrimp, salads) & Cosmic Ray's (rotisserie chicken, ribs)

E - Sunshine Seasons (chicken, gourmet sandwiches, anything from bakery) & Yorkshire County Fish Shop (fish & chips)

AK - Pizzafari (pizza for kids, hot Italian sandwiches for adults)

DHS - Rosie's All American (burgers, chicken strips) & Catalina Eddie's (same as Pizzafari)

POR - Riverside Mill food court - create your own pasta is awesome!!!

MK-Cosmic Rays, Pinocchio's and Pecos Bills

EPCOT-Sunshine Seasons

AK-Yak and Yeti counter service

DHS-Never had a counter service there

DTD-Wolfgang Puck Express (phenomenal!)

Boardwalk-Boardwalk Bakery

I haven't eaten at the Pepper Market at CSR, but we walked by it on our last trip and it smelled amazing.

Other favorites?
-MK - Columbia Harbour House or El Pirata y el pirico (if it's open). Both are an excellent alternative to burgers and fries. I like Casey's Corner for their corn dog nuggets, but I don't like the limited seating.

-Epcot - Sunshine Seasons in the Land - a great value if you are on the dining plan. Also, great selection and so much variety. Also, we love the fish & chips from the pub side of Rose & Crown.

-AK - Used to LOVE Yak & Yeti CS, but last trip, it wasn't very good. Might have been what we ordered or just a bad day. Many people prefer Flame Tree Barbecue, but we weren't impressed.

-DHS - We really enjoyed the Toy Story Pizza Planet. I had heard bad things, but the pizza and salads we had were good.

-DTD - Earl of Sandwich is AMAZING. The Hawaiian BBQ sandwich is to die for. We also enjoyed the pizzas at Wolfgang Puck Express. We had the four cheese pesto, and it was tasty. I've been craving it since we've been home!

I usually recommend Cosmic Ray's to people looking for CS at MK because there is a huge variety of food and entertainment from Sonny Eclipse but I personally prefer Columbia Harbor House. I rarely see people recommend CS breakfast in parks but I really feel strongly about getting something at the Main Street Bakery. The breakfast selection is great and extremely tasty and filling. It's a tradition for us now.

In Epcot, it's tough to say depending on your family's preferences but I really like Tangierine Cafe.

I wasn't really thrilled with any CS at HS.

At AK, we loved Flame Tree BBQ and were really disappointed with Tamu Tamu.

Don't overlook the resorts either for food!

Another option at DTD that doesn't get mentioned too often is Cooke's of Dublin which is the CS option at Raglan Road. I went there for the first time on my trip in May and I will definitely be going back. They have Fish & Chips, Fried Shrimp, Fried Scallops, a Chicken & Mushroom Dish and a few other interesting items. definitely worth a try if you like that type of food or are looking for something different. I'm a big fan of Earl of Sandwich too and if you are looking for a big meal Wolfgang Puck's will definitely deliver. Most of my in park picks have already been mentioned by others.

MK- Cosmic Rays
Ak- Picnic in the park (chicken dinner)
Epcot- Sunshine seasons
HS ?
We are planning on doing Sunshine seasons and Cosmic Rays again this year. We are not doing a quick service at AK, as we are eating at Tuskers for supper and then doing EMH.

Thanks for all your suggestions, being on the quick dining plan this thread has really been helpful. X
