OK so I know you can't have alcohol but how do the drinks work? Is it just the standard "coke" or can you have some of the fancier options like Iced Cappaccinos or the Iced Peach Ooolong in Lotus Blossom Cafe?

It depends on the restaurant or CS. The beverage on the dining plans is typically fountain drinks such as soda, coffee, tea, regular iced tea or lemonade. Specialty non-alcoholic beverages may or may not be included. It really depends on the venue so if something looks interesting you can ask, but if the price point is considerably more than the fountain drinks and/or if it's a non-Disney venue it's less likely to be included. You may have to use a snack credit instead if that's allowed.

Also at food courts you can get a bottled beverages for your drink. This works great since you can save that drink for later and use your mug for your meal. We get juice for breakfast in the room. Some also get bottled of water to take to the parks (we have our own water in the room from WM or Target).

When in doubt, just as the cashier. Happy Dining!:goodvibes

If you haven't already seen my snack thread, check it out for your SC options. Link is in my siggy below.

Thanks both. This is what I was thinking to be honest but thought it worth asking
