Quick Service Dining plan

We are going to to Disney in September and took advantage of the free dining with the quick service. Has anyone used this plan yet? Any suggestions of some good counter service places in the parks?

Cosmic Rays at MK has a rib and chicken combo that's huge. Sunshine Season in Epcot is really good too. Never been a fan of any CS at DHS. Another great CS is Pepper Market at Coranado Springs is really good for the meal but for dessert you only get a cookie, muffin or churro. It worked for us we just saved the muffin for breakfast the next day. Another thing is snacks with QSDP you get 2, as long as the item is less than $4 and single serving it usually qualifies. In the candy store too.

Another thing if you are staying at a value resort and you want hand dipped ice cream As your dessert you can tell the cashier what you want, you go eat your meal and come back to get your dessert within an hour. We loved this.

We just used the QSDP for the 1st time, and we really enjoyed it. It was a lot of food and plenty of variety if you research ahead of time. I only ate one burger the whole time, and that was at Blizzard Beach. We stayed at POR, which has a wonderful food court.

I'm not a fan of the counter service restaurants in general, but we do have a few favorites:

MK: Cosmic Rays or Columbia Harbour House

AK: Flame Tree BBQ

DS: nothing (Yuck!)

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons, the French or Norwegian bakeries, Tangierine Cafe in Morocco

DTD: Wolfgang Puck Express

Resorts: Pepper Market at CSR

We are using the QSDP for the first time also. We gave up the reg plan for the QSDP. We booked bounceback last year with the reg plan but we want to be almost adr free this year. I have looked at the menus to avoid burgers all week. It looks completly easy to do. We are staying at pop and they have a great food court there.

We used QSDP last year in Oct and loved it! We loved being able to eat when we wanted to not when our ADR time came around. We loved having to pay no tips, the flexibility and the refillable mugs. We really enjoyed WPE at DTD, our favorite CS.
