I need you all opinion on the QUICK SERVICE DINING PLAN for 2009? This is how my dh and I eat when we go to the parks and I feel it would fit us. But I would like some input from you guys that have used a dining plan. It would be nice not having to bring so much extra money for food. Is anyone out there consider using this dining plan next year???

You have to do what works for you. For us I really look fwd to sitting down & trying the different resturants.

Personally, my family enjoys TS meals too much to purchase this plan, but if it's how you prefer to dine anyway, I would give it a shot! I do love that with the DDP, you don't have to worry about factoring in extra expenses (well, except for tips) and carrying around extra money.

The value in any of Disney's dining plans should always be figured on how your family eats. (How would your family normally eat at Disney if there weren't any dining plans.) Sounds like this could be a good fit for you. If you want to be absolutely sure, do some calculations by looking at the menu's on allears.net.:)

We have the quick service plan booked for next year. We have done the DDP several times before, and would use it again in a heartbeat. However, our next trip will be our first with our DD, she will be 2 at time of travel. Because we don't know how everything will go with her, there is no way we are going to even attempt more than 1 or 2 character meals on this trip, and besides we are only going for 4 days. So, quick service sounds ideal for us in this situation, with a character meal or 2 OOP. :thumbsup2

My dh and I rather do maybe 2 sit down dinner's so the counter dining will fit us. I am hoping all the people who go before I do will post so we will know how it goes and how they liked it. I appeciate all the input.:thumbsup2
