Quick route from Savannah to HH

I just realized (and we're leaving tomorrow! kinda late, huh? ) that I should ask for the best route from Savannah to HH. Is it easiest to go back to I-95, or is there an easier way? Thanks much!

The two times we've visited HH, the CM's have recommended a "back way" each time - avoiding 95.

If I remember correctly - it took us about 45 minutes to get there...

There's no way I could recall the specific instructions, but just stop by the front desk, and they'll get you there!

Ask the CM's at the front desk. They have a sheet with great directions to Savannah and Charleston. We were at HHI last week and went to both Savannah and Charleston. The ride to Savannah took about 45 Mins and was all back roads and smooth sailing.

You'll have a great time, HHI is a GREAT place!

Being that you're asking to get from Savannah to HH, I'm assuming you mean from the airport on arrival? It's ON I-95 and I'd recommend taking itstraight up to the HH exit in SC and straight in to HH. The "backroads" are great if you're downtown but I-95 is a straight, painless shot, I drive 30 miles of it daily right to the airport and our techs that go to HH from Savannah all go interstate to avoid traffic.

Yes, we'll be coming from Savannah, probably downtown. It sounds like it might be just as easy to hop back on the interstate. Last minute suggestions, anyone???

We went from downtown Savannah to Hilton Head via the local roads and had no difficulty.

Either way should take 35-45 minutes.

I'd take the inerstate and get off at exit 8 in SC.

The back road route is fine, but is not really any faster- only a little shorter.
