Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress has extensive reviews over at TripAdvisor & is one of their highest-rated Orlando resorts - #2 last time I looked. (Average price of its rooms is close to $300). It is practically the only non-Disney hotel we stay at when we go to WDW.
The resort fee includes: Executive 3-putt golf, sailboats, paddleboats, daily newspaper, biking, childrens's activities (like at Halloween they have some trick or treating and they also have a regularly scheduled 'Smores roast at the Campfire on the lake's beach plus other stuff), surrey bikes...I mean, this place must have over 1,000 acres - it's HUGE. If you have a horse-riding nut in your family, they have world-class boarding facilities and lessons. If you have a golfing nut in the family, they have at least two full courses, one of which Jack Nicklaus designed. Their La Coquina Sunday Brunch is considered one of the best (and, yes, it is expensive) in Orlando, with the following...various kinds of sushi, made-to-order hot entrees, bountiful salads, luscious desserts, incredible fresh fruits, several kinds of caviar...I just asked my DD what all they had there and she said "Everything...the question isn't what do they have, Mom, it's what do they *not* have?!?"
If you can, their Concierge(I think it's called Club Level) is wonderful, with varied offerings for breakfast and in the evenings. Their staff has always been polite, professional and go out of their way to do their best.
Can you tell I like it here

?
agnes!
PS - I know that my post might sound like an ad, but I don't work for Hyatt...I'm just a happy and satisfied repeat guest of this particular resort.
