I just wanted to write a quick little dining review about our trip from a week ago before I forgot anything. I traveled with my SUPER picky husband, 2 kids & my mother in law.

Liberty Tree Tavern Lunch - I love this place. I had the pot roast and it was excellent. MIL got the Freedom Pasta which she seemed to enjoy. The kids got mac & cheese and so did daddy (along with the Fried Cheese). The only complaint I heard was MIL saying how ugly the waitress outfits were :confused3 I'm not sure she understands that they dress according to the time period... lol.

Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party - This was WELL worth the money for us. We had a table right up against the railing and I absolutely LOVED the desserts. So did the kids. MIL didn't comment much and DH? Well, let's just say we paid all that money for him to take a bite of ice cream (he complained there were black specks in it) and half of a rice krispie bar. Yeah :confused3

T-Rex - This was our first time at DTD & of course, first time at T-Rex. Everyone LOVED this place. Yes, it's noisy but the food was EXCELLENT. We had great service and even took everything that was left to go. I had the appetizer sampler, MIL had a seafood salad with french onion soup, the kids had pizza and so did DH. We will return there again for sure.

We had originally had HDDR scheduled for that night but I got a phone call Friday morning that it had been canceled for Saturday night :( I rescheduled it for our last night and canceled our Flying Fish ADR. I'm glad I did...

Sunday
The Plaza - This was the longest wait we had. So many people think they can just walk up to a place and get in. There was a man who cut in front of us in line to check in just to try to get an ADR for that day and then he joked with everyone in line :crazy2: Not funny. We waited about 15 minutes to be called in (everyone was crabby and whining that it was so hot outside... I travel with a bunch of grumps). Anyways, once inside, the food was great! The service was even better. We split one kids' meal between the kids and they brought out two Mickeylodeons for them. So nice! I had the Club & MIL had the Reuben. DH went with the grilled cheese & fries & the kids shared chicken strips.

'Ohana's - I had been here before for breakfast but this was the first time for dinner. I started off with a Lapu Lapu at the bar and YUM! I didn't think it was too chocked full of alcohol like everyone says :confused3 MIL had a habanero margarita. DH was sitting this meal out since he wouldn't eat any of it anyways. Once we were seated, the service seemed to take a bit. We waited for each plate to be brought to us a bit longer than I would've hoped for. DD wasn't feeling good and DS was just downright being picky. DH came and got them halfway through the meal and our server didn't charge for either of the kids even though they had a bit of food :thumbsup2 I really enjoyed the food here. MIL didn't make too many comments. It seems the kids antics may have ruined her meal :confused3 I thought the meat was excellent and so were the shrimp. I'll return there for sure!

Monday
Hollywood & Vine Breakfast - This place was fun. I had been there once before with DS. Now that Jake is there, DD HAD to meet him. The food was great and plenty of it. Lots to choose from. DD gave Jake a kiss too!

50's Prime Time Lunch - I loved this place the last time we went. This time our waitress wasn't as funny. DD & DH sat this one out. DD was not feeling well again. DH texted me halfway through the meal that she had a high fever again and a bloody nose. MIL started flipping out right away and told our waitress which in turn, killed the mood completely. The portion seemed a lot smaller this time as well. I had Mom's Favorite Sampling and MIL had the seafood salad. DS had a hotdog. It was all still very good though... but I think I may skip this place the next time around. We didn't see anything funny happen :(

Tuesday
Tusker House Breakfast - We loved Tusker House. Although no one was super hungry, we really enjoyed the characters and the atmosphere. Plus I love eating breakfast and then running for FP's.

Boma Dinner - YUM! I had been here once before with DS and it was just as amazing the second time around. There was a seafood soup that I could've just sat and ate the entire night. Everything was good and I think this is finally becoming a staple in every trip.

Wednesday
'Ohana's Breakfast - The complaining family was at it again... it was so cold in the restaurant, everyone was just freezing. The food was great & so was our service. We really enjoy this breakfast. The characters are wonderful as well.

Cinderella's Royal Table Dinner - We got in a little over an hour earlier than our ADR. DD was in a bad mood and poor Cindy got the brunt of it. Yes, my daughter cried in Cinderella's dress. Ugh :scared: Once we were upstairs she got into a better mood and we really enjoyed our meal here. I heard horror stories about this place's dinner but we thought it was EXCELLENT! We both had the rock shrimp cocktail & the beef tenderloin. MIL opted for the almond cheesecake & I had the dessert trio. The kids had grapes & cheese, pizza & chicken nuggets, cupcake & ice cream for dessert. The princesses were great and took lots of time with the kids. I would return for dinner again.

Thursday
DH & I went to Universal this day so when we got back that night we headed to Cape May Cafe just for MIL & myself. It was AMAZING. Another one to add to the "must do's" for every trip. The service was fantastic... we loved our waiter! And the dessert was just as good.

Friday
1900 Park Fare Breakfast - This was a repeat for us as well. Love the pecan rolls, strawberry soup & lobster benedict. The characters were awesome! Everyone really enjoyed this meal.

Hoop De Doo - Since I had to reschedule, we made it for our very last night and everyone was a little irritable by now... it was the 9:30 show and we had to be up at 3am to head to the airport :furious: This was the perfect ending to our trip. Everyone LOVED it. The service was fantastic! The waitresses even brought out blankets for the kids because they were cold by the end of the show. The food was terrific (and plenty of it) and the show was VERY entertaining. DS even got picked to go up on stage and he was the star of the show. We couldn't have asked for a better last night!

I'll be back with pictures and more of a description eventually... thanks for reading!
